2011 Valentines Day

Loving is not just looking at each other, it's looking in the same direction.
Valentines day this year falls on Monday so definitely it's a working day but despite of being busy we still find time to celebrate "St. Valentine's day". Choosing where to dine that day was not easy because all the restaurants were full-packed of people we really had a hard time choosing from Korean,Japanese,Asian and etc.restaurants. At last, we settle in Gerry's Grill a home of Filipino dishes and it's my 3rd time dining in this restaurant. We ordered nilaga bulalo, sugba kinilaw, pork sisig (my boyfriend's fave), and tinomok?well, it's my first time to hear this dish but I like "laing" and it say's in the menu that it was featured in a magazine so, we must try it.
Nilaga Bulalo
Sugba Kinilaw
Pork Sisig
Tinomok
Tinomok is like the famous Bicolano dish named "laing"but not that spicy-hot the "gabi" leaves wrapped the pork and there's a shrimp too with a thicken coconut milk. And the verdict it taste good! but the pork sisig is not that good it lacked of "spicy-hotness" on it which is one of the trademarks of "sisig", there nilaga bulalo and sugba kinilaw has nothing significant on it's palatability just the same with the other restaurants.

with Jen (my partner during college days) and Eman.
After we devoured the food we stayed there for quiet a moment talking everything under the sun issues but we didn't stayed that long because their attendants started to get our plates maybe that's there way of saying "there are many diners waiting outside so please leave your place now." We decided to go to the IMAX Theater and find a good movie to watch.

Over-all that day was such a fun day plus I enjoyed the company of my friends. 'Till next Valentines day!
