Just Go With It

Adam Sandler : This may sound strange, but for years, I pretended to be married. My Wife beats me in front of my kids.
Girl: No!
Adam Sandler: I know how wrong it is. But no strings attached, and nobody gets hurt.

Last night was the opening of this movie and because I feel in love with the trailer I watched it with my boyfriend. The casts were great which includes Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Kidman it was a great movie and I love it. My boyfriend and I keeps on laughing for the entire duration of the movie it's a good medicine for a busy work we had that day. I realized upon watching this movie that if you want to be happy in a certain relationship you need to be true to yourself and just go with it wherever love takes you. If your hurt with your previous relationship always look at the positive side and remember that everything happens for a reason. Just enjoy every moment you have with your loved ones!

Munked with Alvin and the Chipmunks

They said that if there is sequel there is prequel and of course there should be SQUEKQUEL and it was released by the 20th Century Fox the Alvin and the Chipmunks yes! they are back and with a new appearances of their tandem the Chippetes which is also a singing chipmunks. We really enjoyed watching it and until now me and my boyfriend still talk about it especially when Toby there substitute guardian fart while sleeping and Theodore which is the youngest of the chipmunks was inside the blanket. It's just one of the funny scenes in the movie but aside from bringing humor to the audience of course it brings also a good lesson to everyone and that is "not to be conceited".

And aside from that one of the reasons that I really wanted to watch this movie is that a Filipino International Singing Sensation was one of the casts it's Charice Pempengco proud to be a Filipino. It really brings a good feeling knowing that she's one of those Filipino artists who brings fame and glory to our country.

So, to all the Filipino artists hurray! and keep it up!

Avatar in Full 3D

They said that if you expect less during the trailer of a certain movie you'll be surely awed by the time you watched it and find the movie "OUTSTANDING". Well, it's a whole new experience to me watching the Avatar in a full 3D yey! the movie was really great. All the viewers at that time couldn't help but get excited while waiting for the start of the movie and absolutely we are all eager to wear our goggles although they keep on throwing joke "where's the sun men?" funny it was but it made the mood of the cinema more exciting. As the screen lights we immediately put on our goggles but unfortunately it's not starting yet and removed the goggles again while laughing. I didn't know what to expect first at this kind of new cinema genre, but, well, it was something, breathtaking. When the  movie finally starts, no one moved or even made a hiss sound we only focus to the thing called 3D. Just imagined you are immense deep into the scene as if you were there you were standing beside Jake Sully and as if you can touched those well-lighted plants, it's like walking through the actions. And the audio is so clear and you can feel the impact of every battle in the movie by just sitting. My boyfriend and I really had a fun time, we scream, laugh, cry and we even want to help them in fighting for those villains; I think the plot of the story is simply fantastic and incredible all were in right places. Although I must admit that the price of the 3D ticket is far from a cinema ticket but it's worth it.When we went out in the cinema we were holding hands and have a non-stop repeat of the scenes. Applause for the 3D Avatar!

The Cinema Getaway

When boredom strikes me nothing beat the feeling of going into cinema to unwind and be updated of latest movies. It seems that the environment in the cinema zone make me feel relax and happy. And so everytime there's a new movie I always find time to watch it. Here are some of the best movies I've seen and going to watch as soon as it is release.

The movie was released last July 17, 2009 and as what expected it was watched and appreciated by different ages.Me and my boyfriend was one of those who endure the long line just to watch the premiere for the reason that I'm also a Harry Potter fanatic and I'm one of those muggles too.. And eventhough I've already read the last book entitled "Deathly Hallows" when I was in college, still the thrill of being inside the cinema having the same feeling with the audiences is the best. I can't wait to watch the last book in the cinema.

Released last October 8,2009 "This is It" is all about the supposed to be upcoming concerts of  Michael Jackson but sad to know because of his untimely death last June 26,2009 it didn't come to reality. Thus, this movie was composed of the rehearsals of  "the greatest concerts that never happened". The hardwork and effort of MJ in his coming concerts was visible in this compilation. A totally poignant memory in Entertainment industry. We miss you MJ and thank you!

Released last November 13,2009 and for me it was an awakening movie for those who doesn't care about our nature. I was really touched while watching the people running for their lives and it's sad to know that we can be like them in the future if we keep on ignoring the cry of our Mother Nature.

It was released last  November 20,2009 and I couldn't believed that the viewers of this movie range twice of the viewers of Harry Potter truly, too many people were in love with vampire (funny). But it was such an spectacular movie and I can't forget those lines that Edward threw to Bella wow! when you're going to use that phrases in courting, the girl would definitely say "yes" even if you don't ask to. Two thumbs up to Chris Weitz, the director and most especially to Stephenie Meyer, the writer of the book for making the movie belong to the Guinness World Records.

Released last December 18, 2009 and "Yes!", I'm going to enter the World of Avatar by planning to watch it in a 3D (Digital Cinema) before going home this week. Before it was released I was thinking that the Avatar is the same with the famous anime "Avatar The Last Airbender" which is also a heartwarming movie but it was totally different. Nevertheless, I won't let this movie pass by without watching it first.

And to have a great end this year don't forget to watch this Disney movie because it has really a totally different twist from what we used to know "The Frog Prince"and to think that the release date will be on December 25, 2009 it was a great treat for your kids with a visible lessons to learn. So don't forget to catch it in theater!

To start the Year of the Tiger great! watch this movie this coming January 8,2009, if I'm going to base it on it's trailer I would definitely recommend it for everyone to include this movie in your list.

And so when the boredom sink in thy self  try to have a "Cinema Getaway" and you'll never regret it.

"The Great Debaters"

"Whose the judge? The judge is God. And why is it God? because He decides whose gonna lose. Whose your opponent? it doesn't exist and what exist? the words of truth".

I was looking for a certain document when I came across one of my friends account and I've read that one of his favorites movie is "The Great Debaters".I always felt nostalgic everytime I heard the word debater for the reason that I'm also a debater myself. Although, my high school and college debating life was totally different but still the motion will always be the same "fight for what you believe is right". I wasn't able to finish the movie that night because I'm so sleepy at that time.Saturday in the evening I  was thinking of doing something when I remember that I was not able to finish the movie last night. And so I'm giving it a try that night. I didn't expect that this movie will made me cry, the plot, the setting, and even the actors and actresses were suited perfectly for the film no wonder this movie got an award because it worth it!

After watching the movie I browse some of my pictures and I kept on staring on the particular picture that one of my co-debaters made, it brings many memories to me and it made me smile while reminiscing our experiences and funny escapades. We were so young, (I should say) back then when we first met each other, we came from different departments and had different majors. Our university has only one official debating society, our debating adviser gather us together to be the representative of our college in the said society. We undergone trainings with them and some mock debate to enhance our skills. After how many months, we all felt that we don't like to be in that field anymore, we felt that we were just following an instructions that will never make ourselves complete we want to experience the true battle of debate. Thus, we decided together with our adviser to create another debating society depicting our college name. We learned previously that the founder of our university's debating society was a teacher in our college before and it's just for some mistakes why he was transferred to other college. He encourage us to be different from others and be of our own selves and from that day on the CDG was formed.

We have a non-stop campaign from that day onwards telling every students that being in a debating society is really fun, some ignored it because they were afraid about the so-called "public speaking" but there were also  who are brave enough to join us. As time goes by, we created the best team in our guild and we are able to grab major wins in different competition that needs debaters. We are not only able to develop our debating skills but most importantly we created the friendship that were not able to find when we were in the different debating society. Who would have thought that all of us can be friends even for the fact that we came from different departments, who would have thought that we can share to each other the problems we had and can come up with a good advise, and who would have thought that our friendship will inspire the aspiring debaters in our college.

And nevertheless, we can proudly say that we are the pioneers of our college debaters guild, we all took the challenge to be different and we're not afraid to face the consequences of the said decision. From the year we graduated and for many years to come we know that the debating guild we all worked hard to achieve will produce a "great debaters" because we founded the guild with friendship as it's base.

We have different journey to follow but I know within each others heart the spirit of being a debater is still burning same as the day we smile to each other as opponent and the day we hugged each other as forever comrades in the field of debate. And I'm glad to know that up to this moment the bond we made never fade we still care and help each other. We, the CED DEBATERS GUILD were certified "DEBATITIS" the disease of being hungry to debate and I'm proud to be one of "The Great Debaters".
